CTA局徽


芝加哥交通管理局（英语：Chicago Transit Authority，缩写為CTA）是美国伊利诺伊州芝加哥市及其周边地区的公共交通运营机构。该局是于1947年10月1日通过合并之前由市政府购置的芝加哥快速交通公司及芝加哥地面电车公司的资产组建的。1952年CTA购并了芝加哥机动巴士公司，从而完成了对芝加哥地区公共交通系统的整合。如今，CTA是伊利諾州區域交通管理局（英语：Regional Transportation Authority (Illinois)）（Regional Transportation Authority）提供资金进行运作的三家机构之一。[1]

运营


芝加哥交通局为芝加哥市及其40个郊区提供公共交通服务，2011年运送了6亿2千万人次，比2010年增长了百分之三，这是20年来鲜见的。[2]


该局每天24小时都提供服务，其所属的地铁及巴士每个工作日大约要运送170万人次。[3]

  • CTA於2009年總共接收了十台 5000系樣版列車，並於2010年4月開始投放至現行線路進行載客測試。 測試完畢後，CTA確定訂396台新列車。[6]

  • 2011年7月20日, CTA 宣佈將會再增購300台列車，連同早前已下達的訂單，合共706台，總共價值約十億美元。[7]

现在旗下拥有1800辆巴士，在140条线路上运行，线路总长接近2230英里（3658公里）。巴士乘客接近100万人次，系统内有12000个巴士车站。[3]
