Front-end Development for Developing Countries
I'm creating apps for rural areas of developing countries. I'm targeting 3G internet usability, and lower-powered mobile devices. I'm looking for a front-end approach that will best support this target audience.
The app will primarily entail data lookup from APIs, so I'm thinking a jamstack and geo-replicated data/api layer approach would be helpful for content distribution and local accessibility.
Would a SPA framework be best, sacrifice initial load time for improved app
usability? Or is that too much for the hardware to handle?
Perhaps I should focus on native app vs. web to help reduce that load time hit, though I can't walk away from web?
Any suggestions on this, or recommendations of light-weight front-end frameworks/utilities to look at for this?
