How can I access the tabbar behavior in the animateTransition function from the “fromViewControlelr”?

0

Im trying to build my own animated transition in swift between two ViewController. My "from" ViewController is embedded in a UITabBarController. In my transition I would like to slide the TabBar under the viewable screen, like the transition in the Spotify app, when tapping the mini-player.

    func animateTransition(using transitionContext: UIViewControllerContextTransitioning) {

guard let fromVC = transitionContext.viewController(forKey: .from),
let toVC = transitionContext.viewController(forKey: .to) else { return }
let snapshot = toVC.view.snapshotView(afterScreenUpdates: true)

let tabbar = fromVC.tabBarController?.tabBar

The last line return always nil.

Any approach to solving the problem, or does anyone know exactly how to implement a animation like in the Spotify app.

Thank you
