How to upgrade opencv 3.1.0 to 3.3 or above without reinstalling in Ubuntu 16.04?

0

I've installed openCV 3.1.0 with python 2.7 in a virtual environment in ubuntu 16.04. Now I need to upgrade to opnenCV 3.3 or above. I am working with dnn(Deep Neural Network) and dnn was introduced in openCV 3.3 .

When I try to run a deep Learning code , the following error is shown by the Python Interpreter:

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'dnn'

So, I need to upgrade the opencv without Disturbing the whole environment.
Please help.
