Best way to add placeholder data to mongodb

0

What is the best way to complete collections in mongodb with placeholder (lorem ipsum) data? Ex. I have posts collection and want to give some data at start of the project ( { content: xxx, creator: john, ...)) just in case I want to give user possibility to test my app without adding data manually. How to do that in the best option?

My sollution: creating another file with:
mongoose.connect(config.database, (err, db) => {
//postArray implementation
//insertMany logic
}

Is that a good way?
