version issue - Jdk 8 / Tomcat 8 web service calls MEP RawXMLINOnlyMessageReceiver instead of...
I am new to StackOverFlow community. This is the first time I am posting a question. I have little experience with soap WS. I am testing a web service using different versions of JDK as a client's requirement. I am using soapUi as a client. When I am using JDK 6 or JDK 7 everything works fine. I send request XML from SoapUI - internally it calls
org.apache.axis2.receivers.AbstractInOutMessageReceiver class - invokeBusinessLogic() method.
The problem is when I use JDK 8 version. When the same request xml is sent from soapUi, internally it calls org.apache.axis2.receivers.RawXMLINOnlyMessageReceiver - invokeBusinessLogic() method.
class - RawXMLINOnlyMessageReceiver
public void invokeBusinessLogic(MessageContext msgContext) throws AxisFault {
try {
// get the implementation class for the Web Service
Object obj = getTheImplementationObject(msgContext);
// find the WebService method
Class<?> implClass = obj.getClass();
AxisOperation op = msgContext.getAxisOperation();
Method method = findOperation(op, implClass);
if (method == null) {
throw new AxisFault(Messages.getMessage("methodDoesNotExistInOnly"));
}
method.invoke(obj,
new Object { msgContext.getEnvelope().getBody().getFirstElement() });
} catch (Exception e) {
throw AxisFault.makeFault(e);
}
}
---- It is not able to find the right method so method returns null and hence throws AxisFault - methodDoesNotExistInOnly
Does anybody have any idea why it uses RawXMLINOnlyMessageReceiver class and not AbstractInOutMessageReceiver for JDK 8?
I tried changing axis2.xml (version 1.7.8)
from ---
<messageReceivers>
<messageReceiver mep="http://www.w3.org/ns/wsdl/in-only"
class="org.apache.axis2.receivers.RawXMLINOnlyMessageReceiver"/>
<messageReceiver mep="http://www.w3.org/ns/wsdl/in-out"
class="org.apache.axis2.receivers.RawXMLINOutMessageReceiver"/>
</messageReceivers>
to ---
<messageReceivers>
<messageReceiver mep="http://www.w3.org/ns/wsdl/in-out"
class="org.apache.axis2.receivers.AbstractInOutMessageReceiver"/>
</messageReceivers>
But still I receive the same error.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
