Error while trying to get a specific type of log from Event Viewer on Powershell
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm running the following command on powershell:
> Get-eventLog -LogName Security -InstanceID 4625
4625 refers to events where there was a failed logon attempt, and I just want those (if possible I'd want to get the specific IP that failed the logon but that's less prioritary).
However, I'm getting an error for any events that are located past index 3955 in specific for some reason. Here's what appears:
"Índice 3955 fora dos limites" means "Index 3955 out of bounds" just in case anyone needs the clarification.
If I try it with other events that have instances before index 3955, for example, -InstanceID 4624, I get a list of all the events and then it stops at 3955 as well and I get this error (without the "no matches found" bottom half of it).
What's wrong and what should I do to correct this?

The index out of bounds number has been getting higher with further attempts, so I assume it's something to do with the listing of the events or the update to new ones..?
Update 2
I tried this command on a virtual machine's powershell and it runs correctly and without errors.
Also, I have administrator permissions for both, if it's relevant.
