Accessing the AutoId class from firebase functions
I'd like to be able to generate a new document id in my Firebase functions code using the same code that Firebase uses: AutoId
class
I don't want to use store.collection(..).doc()
to get a new document reference if I can avoid it as I'd prefer that this code didn't take a reference on the admin.firestore.Firestore
object.
What packages and import statements do I need to use to get hold of the AutoId
class?
Ideally I'd like to import TypeScript type definitions as well
typescript firebase google-cloud-firestore google-cloud-functions node-modules
