Reload injected values through @ConfigurationProperties without restarting application

0

I basically have a class

@ConfigurationProperties(prefix = "api.hosts")
@Getter
@Setter
public class CsApi {

private String field1;
private String field2

}

And an application.properties file

api.hosts.field1=x
api.hosts.field2=y

It's properly working.

But what I want is that whenever I change the values in application.properties, then the values of the class will also change. I'm having a hard time achieving this because as to what I understand, @ConfigurationProperties is injecting the property values only at runtime.

I would not want to reload the entire application, even programmatically.

  • Not yet, currently working on a different ticket. But I will be checking it out when I get back to that problem.
