Check whether 2 mp3 files have the same audio?

I'm using NAudio library to trim 1 second of audio from the start of random mp3 files, I then want to compare these trimmed sections to see if they are the same.

All the trimmed files are same file size which I suppose is typical as they contain same number of frames.

So I think my options are to either compare waveforms or compare the bits. I know how I'd go about comparing bits, but I'm wondering whether there's a simpler method of comparing the waveforms using NAudio?

I'd say the simplest version to compare them would be compare Bits. Everything else seems to be more complicated.
