zmq PUB/SUB drops messages when `sleep()` is not done after `send()`

What am I trying to acheive?



Reliable PUB/SUB using zmq, where the Subscribers may come and go, as they wish.



And, to simulate this pattern, more or less.

I realize that this question has been asked before.



Mine differs because the following code -




  • Does explicit synchronization using ROUTER-DEALER, to avoid slow-joiner syndrome.


  • Doesn't immediately close the Context/Socket after send().

    ADDR2 = f"ipc://{Path.home()}/.tmp/pairtest"
