Post to outer localhost from docker container server running on my computer
I have a docker container that exposes a website via a random IP generated when I start the container. Let’s say I have a Node server running on localhost:3000 on my computer, outside of the container.
I’d assume if I post to the server running in the docker container that then needs to post rearranged data to that localhost Node server, it will try to post to localhost within the container.
Does docker expose the outside environment localhost to its containers? Can I post to this local server, on my computer outside the container, from the Docker container website’s backend?
