Why do I get a weird print format when I run Python subprocess ssh and checking disk space on each server?
This is what i run i my script
def ssh_hosts():
"""Jump from host to host provided in the lists"""
for host in hosts:
cmd = 'df -hP'
ssh = sub.Popen(['ssh', '-o', 'StrictHostKeyChecking=no', '-o', 'ConnectTimeout=30', '%s' % host, cmd ],
universal_newlines = True,
shell = False,
stdout = sub.PIPE,
stderr = sub.PIPE)
result = ssh.stdout.readlines()
print(result)
The correct results are printed but the format is not clean as expected as seen on the attached imageenter image description here
