How to add snippets to homepage through code?

0

I am working on a theme and want to create homepage by calling snippets when the theme gets installed. I have tried these two ways:

1) Calling default snippets: When i call the snippet using , snippets are added successfully but they are not deleted anymore. The snippets becomes static in homepage.

2) Putting code directly of snippet's template: I have copied whole code of snippet instead of calling template. I am able to delte those, but this does not look proper way.

Please guide me how can I achieve this.
