Microsoft Word isn't displaying spacing before some headings

I want to consistently display 48pt spacing before heading 1, but it only appears to be working on some of my headings. I've tried ticking and unticking the 'Don't add spacing between paragraphs of the same style' option on the paragraph menu, and I've tried ticking and unticking the 'Suppress extra line spacing at top of page' option on the Options > Advanced page. Neither works.

I'm using Microsoft Office 365.

Thanks.
