Using .net Standard 2.0 in UWP 1803

I'm trying to use the QRCoder nuget packet which targets .netStandard 2.0. running a .netStandard console app everything works great. But when I try to use the assembly in UWP half of the stuff doesn't work.



I thought Microsoft made .netStandard 2.0 work with UWP in the fall creators update? Is this just not the case?
