visjs doesn't sort items that are in a nesting group
I have a timeline with two NestingGroups. Each of these have items within the group as well as Nest 3 additional groups each.
This gives a total of 8 Groups in the timeline. I am adding items into the "NestedGroups" and then adding them again (with id changed) in the Top level "Nesting Group". The JSFiddle will show why I'm doing this. I have things with different priority in the Sub/NestedGroups and am trying to show a rollup in the Top Level / Nesting Groups.
groups.add([
{
id: '1',
content: "Live",
nestedGroups: ['1-high', '1-medium', '1-low'],
className: "liveGroup",
subgroupStack: {'1-high': true,'1-medium': true, '1-low': true}
},
{
id: '2',
content: "Draft",
nestedGroups: ['2-high', '2-medium', '2-low'],
className: "draftGroup dg",
subgroupStack: {'2-high': true,'2-medium': true, '2-low': true}
}
]);
https://jsfiddle.net/y01w397u/
I can't figure out how to get the Top Level groups to sort the items. I have a custom "order" function in place with a console log inside. This function is never getting called with the items that are in the top level group. (Items with id > 10000).
subgroup ordering is working as expected.
Overall Expect scenario is that the Green Boxes always overlap all other boxes. You can see for the second green box that this is not the case.
https://jsfiddle.net/y01w397u/
p.s. Bonus Question: I'm noticing that when using subgroups, the heights for the groups is not equal. ie: top level groups get lesser height than subgroups. I'm manually overwriting this in my css but am I missing something?
