Error while - sudo systemctl start jenkins

sounds like your installation went wrong
try to install with
sudo apt-get install jenkins
to get a correct installation and try again

Your installation of your package is wrong.
Try re-installing the package. First uninstall and purge it.
sudo apt-get purge jenkins
Install it again
sudo apt-get install jenkins
