How to configure logging process by the means of config server?
I have:
- Application (Spring Boot 2);
- Config server (Spring Boot 2);
- Graylog server;
Current implementation is: Log4j is used for logging. Configuration is placed right in the class path as log4j.xml file. Log messages are sent to the Graylog server.
Goal is: Move all configuration of logging process to application.yml which is placed on the config server to avoid constant rebuild process in the case when you just need to change logging level or something else.
I thought that it is possible to use logback instead of log4j to be able to use yml configuration and refresh configuration.
I've found articles like these:
