Transitively including Brunch plugins
I am developing a number of npm packages (let's call them A
, B
and C
) all of which have the same devDependencies
. I tried to outsource these dev dependencies (brunch
, sass-brunch
, babel-brunch
, @babel/preset-env
) into a separate package called D
that has them as its normal dependencies
.
The problem is that when I include D
as part of the devDependencies
section in A
, B
and C
, the Brunch plugins in D
are not executed. This makes me suspect that Brunch plugins need to be specified directly in the package.json
of the package where they are used.
Is there are a way to make the plugins specified as dependencies
in D
work when they are transitively included as devDependencies
in A
, B
, and C
?
