I have been trying to use the ACE editor in my angular application. Angular is not serving the ACE scripts present in directory node_modules/ace-builds/src-min-noconflict. I have added

{
"glob": "*/**",
"input": "../node_modules/ace-builds/src-min-noconflict",
"output": "./"
}

into assets in angular.json.

This is my directory structure.

├── node_modules
│   ├── ace-builds
│   │   ├── ace.d.ts
│   │   ├── ace-modules.d.ts
│   │   ├── bower.json
│   │   ├── ChangeLog.txt
│   │   ├── ...
│   │   ├── src-min-noconflict
│   │   │   ├── ace.js
| | | |...
├── package.json
├── package-lock.json
├── README.md
├── src
├── tsconfig.json
└── tslint.json

And sourceRoot for my app is src.
I am being showed a blank page when I visit http://localhost/ace.js in firefox instead of the script.
Where am I going wrong?

  • Instead of assets, you should add it into the scripts array of angular.json
